Fulham Textile Studio offers 3 levels of immersive rug tufting workshops - Tufting Basic, Tufting Next Level and Tufting Masterpiece. 
You don’t have to have any experience of tufting to join all workshops. The only difference really is the time allotted for each workshop and the size of your end piece. 

Note! Beginners and novices are welcome to all classes.

Tufting Workshops

TUFTING BASICS

    • Introduction to the art of rug tufting, ideal for beginners.

    • Duration: 3.5 hours

    • Cost: £150

    • What's Included:

      • Introduction to cut-pile electric tufting guns, tufting cloths, yarn and frames

      • Demonstration to get you started with tufting

      • Choice of over 90 colors of yarn

      • Hands-on practice tufting your own design on a 40cm x 40cm frame

      • Time to trim and shave your rug for finishing touches

    • Outcome: Create and take home your own handcrafted rug

TUFTING NEXT LEVEL

    • Our next level rug tufting workshop, open to both beginners and those with some experience.

    • Duration: 6 hours

    • Cost: £200

      • What's Included:

        • Comprehensive introduction to cut-pile electric tufting guns (same as Tufting Basics)

        • Extended hands-on practice time

        • Choice of over 90 colors of yarn

        • Larger canvas with a 60cm x 60cm frame

        • Additional time to perfect and refine your tufting skills

        • Opportunity to trim and shave your rug for a polished finish

      • Outcome: Create a larger, more intricate handcrafted rug masterpiece

TUFTING MASTERPIECE

    • An extensive and detailed 2-day rug tufting course designed for in-depth learning and creation.

    • Duration: 2 days, 6 hours each day (Total: 12 hours)

    • Cost: £250

    • What's Included:

      • Comprehensive introduction to cut-pile electric tufting guns

      • In-depth demonstrations and guided practice sessions

      • Choice of over 90 colors of yarn

      • Large workspace with an even bigger frame for tufting

      • Extended time to develop and perfect intricate designs

      • Detailed instruction on advanced tufting techniques and finishing touches

      • Personalized guidance to ensure your rug is a true masterpiece

    • Outcome: Create a detailed, large-scale handcrafted rug masterpiece over two days.
